Ulda & Jorge - New York, NY
August 22, 2022
When Ulda & Jorge reached out I was honored to be chosen to document not only their wedding day but also their first time in New York City. They told me about their plans to travel from Spain and elope within Central Park at Wagner Cove (one of my personal favorite places to hold a ceremony in Central Park).
On the morning of their elopement, I had been texting back and forth with Ulda because we were facing one major concern, the weather. The forecast was predicting a huge downpour of rain right when they planned to have their ceremony. Ulda & Jorge were the picture of calm and positivity embracing the weather, which with luck held off until after their intimate ceremony with family.
When the rain finally arrived during their bridal portraits these two embraced it. We ran around Central Park taking portraits in some of the key spots we had planned beforehand.
At the end of our portraits, we hopped on the subway to finish the day with some iconic subway portraits, and then they headed off to meet their families for a celebratory dinner.
It was a whirlwind of a day, and I’m so thankful I connected with this amazing couple to make their elopement dreams a reality!
